Located in the heart of Sweetwater, the iconic “This Girl Can” building blends small-town charm with modern comfort while honoring its historic character. Upstairs, boutique guest suites feature original hardwood floors, exposed brick, and oversized windows that overlook the vibrant streetscape below.
Built in the early 1900s, the building has served as an attorney’s office, photography studio, and more throughout its storied past. Today, the ground floor is home to The Retreat Spa and Salon, adding to the building’s welcoming and curated experience.
Who is Shannon Corn?
I am a solo-preneur with a love for historic spaces and meaningful design. Every interior detail was personally curated and chosen for the character, quality and story. By profession, I am a nurse, and at heart, I believe deeply in kindness, thoughtfulness, and doing good--values that shape both my work and spaces I create. As a woman-owned, independently run business, each space was designed to feel welcoming, safe, and restorative. Intentionally, I have collaborated with a spa owner offering wellness services to our guests.
